Avaza + Google Sheets integration
Send Avaza data to Google Sheets for custom reports, or add rows to a sheet to create schedule bookings in Avaza, with no copying and pasting.

What you can automate between Avaza and Google Sheets
New timesheet entry → row
Log every timesheet entry in a sheet for custom analysis. (Avaza: New Timesheet Entry → Google Sheets: Create Spreadsheet Row)
Invoice sent → row
Keep a running list of invoices sent for cash-flow tracking. (Avaza: Invoice Sent → Google Sheets: Create Spreadsheet Row)
New project or task → row
Track new projects and tasks in a shared sheet. (Avaza: New Project / New Task Created → Google Sheets: Create Spreadsheet Row)
New row → schedule booking
Plan bookings in a sheet and have them appear on the Avaza resource schedule. (Google Sheets: New Spreadsheet Row → Avaza: Create Schedule Booking)
Set up Avaza + Google Sheets in Zapier
No code and no developer needed. Most Zaps take a few minutes.
1. Connect both apps
In Zapier, create a Zap and sign in to Avaza and Google Sheets when prompted.
2. Pick a trigger and an action
Choose what starts the Zap and what happens next, for example “New Timesheet Entry” in Avaza and “Create Spreadsheet Row” in Google Sheets.
3. Map fields and switch it on
Match fields such as title, project, customer and dates, test the Zap, then turn it on.
Why connect Google Sheets and Avaza?
Avaza has 30+ built-in reports, but sometimes you need the raw data in a spreadsheet to combine with other sources. Going the other way, a sheet is a quick way to plan bookings in bulk: our support guide shows how to turn new rows into Avaza schedule bookings, including looking up the project and the person first.
About Google Sheets
Google Sheets is Google's online spreadsheet app, with real-time collaboration on any device.
Questions about the Google Sheets integration
Is the Google Sheets integration built into Avaza?
No. It runs through Zapier, which connects Avaza to thousands of apps. Avaza's built-in integrations are Xero, QuickBooks Online, GitHub, Google Drive, Dropbox, Stripe, PayPal and Payoneer, plus Google single sign-on.
Do I need a paid Zapier plan?
You need a Zapier account, and Zapier's own plans apply: simple two-step Zaps run on its free plan, while multi-step Zaps (for example, searching for an Avaza project before creating a task) need a paid Zapier plan.
How quickly do the automations run?
Avaza's Zapier triggers are instant: Avaza tells Zapier as soon as a task, project, invoice or other record is created or changed. Zaps that start in Google Sheets run on the schedule Zapier uses for that app's trigger.
Is there a step-by-step guide?
Yes. The Avaza support article “How to Create a Zap That Sends Google Sheets Data to Avaza’s Schedule Booking” walks through the trigger, the project and user lookups, and the booking step.
